About us

Let's talk sustainability

We're all aboard the sustainability train here! Yep, that's right, we're totally into it. How do we do it? Well, it's pretty simple, actually. We've made quality, sustainability, and fairness our main squeezes. Forget chasing after stacks of cash – we're all about supporting companies that treat their workers well, mind their carbon footprint, and handle their waste responsibly, even if it means shelling out a bit more dough.

Oh, and transparency? We've got it in spades, but we'll dive into that later. Right now, we would also like to be transparent about our supplier: "Stanley and Stella." We've carefully chosen them because they consistently show just how much love they pour into their clothing, and the people that make them. Follow the button below to head to their website.

Now, we're not blind to the fact that, from a business perspective, this might seem like a pretty lousy move. Our profit margins? Well, let's just say they're not exactly breaking records. If our bank account could talk, it might suggest we go with some anonymous supplier on Alibaba, churning out clothes in less-than-ideal conditions just to boost profits. But hey, that was never our game plan. We didn't start this company with dollar signs in our eyes. It's all about the passion, baby!

What's that about transparency?

So, you can't just launch a clothing brand without a killer unique selling proposition, right? And let's be real, focusing solely on sustainability and quality won't quite cut it for a new clothing brand in 2024. That's why we've made a bold move to go completely transparent. We want our customers to know exactly where their hard-earned cash is going – whether it's into the product, the website, or even (hopefully at some point) into our own pockets.

Right now, we're still a small fry in the business pond, with only a handful of customers , albeit super loyal ones! But we're dreaming big. We're hoping that as we grow, the discounts on our bulk purchases will grow too, allowing us to slash our prices. Our end game? Selling fair, top-notch, eco-friendly threads at a price that won't break the bank for anyone. Currently, we've set our margins just enough to cover our expenses – not exactly rolling in dough (in fact, some might call it more of a money pit... oops!). Every penny that flows in comes from our day jobs outside of this venture!

To give some transparency about where our profits are going?

Right now, we've got a yearly expense of the following:

€120 for bank upkeep
€252 for running Shopify
€108 for web hosting
€600-1200 for marketing (that's just €50-100 a month – we're not splurging on billboards here!). So, if you're feeling the love, help us out by spreading the word!
€0 to our salaries!
Everything else that we make we put back into the business or an ANBI charity!

We're hopeful that someday soon, we'll be able to pay ourselves a decent salary for all the hard work we pour into this brand. But for now, you'll find us here, having a blast crafting killer designs and hopefully putting smiles on people's faces, and clothes on their bodies!

Crunching the numbers, our current collection is pulling in an average profit of €7.03 per piece. To cover our yearly costs, we've gotta sell about 17 pieces a month. Hey, it's all part of the game!

Now, here's the kicker – every penny that we earn beyond our upkeep goes straight into stocking up on more goodies for you. Yep, sorry to break it to you, but that means our clothes might be a tad less "limited" in the future. But hey, the silver lining? They'll be even cheaper!

So, there you have it – the not-so-glamorous side of running a small business. But hey, with your support, we're making it work, one sale at a time. Cheers to you, and here's to keeping the dream alive! 🥂✨

Pssst.... still not a believer of these numbers? Feel free to send us an email and we can share with you some invoices, this way you can redo the math ;)
